Be The Most Regulated Person in the Room

In moments of overwhelm, we can borrow calm from the most regulated person in the room.  Family co-regulation is one of the first ways we learn to manage stress.  Through touch, connection, and supportive relationships, the nervous system learns safety and calm.  As adults, healthy connections and therapeutic massage can continue to support the nervous system regulation, stress relief, relaxation, and recovery from the demands of daily life.
